Formatting errors reach the backend
Phone numbers, identifiers, dates or reference values arrive in inconsistent formats and have to be corrected later.
Smart Form Assistance
WebXtend adds deterministic validation, normalization and visible input assistance to fields that already exist. Your form, backend and submit flow remain in place.
Existing forms often work well until input quality starts creating avoidable correction loops. Rebuilding the form is expensive; hard-coding another page-specific rule makes the next change harder.
Phone numbers, identifiers, dates or reference values arrive in inconsistent formats and have to be corrected later.
Validation after submit creates extra steps and makes simple corrections feel like failed transactions.
The same business requirement is reimplemented in templates, front-end scripts or backend handlers instead of being governed explicitly.
WebXtend binds to selected fields and returns a defined result to the same page. It does not take ownership of the form or its submission endpoint.
Connect the solution to ordinary inputs using the integration configuration for the current page.
Convert accepted variants into a canonical representation where the use case requires it.
Apply explicit rules in the browser and return a predictable valid, invalid or assistance result.
The existing application still decides what happens when the user submits the form.
Users can fix an input while they are still looking at the field instead of after a failed submit.
Normalization reduces avoidable format differences before values reach downstream processing.
Validation behaviour can be versioned as solution configuration instead of disappearing into one-off page scripts.
Typical candidates are existing forms where the surrounding process is stable and only a small set of fields needs better guidance or validation.
Boundaries
Smart Form Assistance is deliberately narrow. It does not replace server-side business validation, authentication, transaction processing or the legal responsibility of the underlying application.
No. The form remains part of the existing website or application. WebXtend binds the configured assistance and validation behaviour to the current fields.
No. Client-side assistance improves the interaction, but security-relevant and authoritative validation must still be enforced by the responsible backend.
Yes. The solution is designed so the original submit flow remains responsible for the transaction.
No. The current solution uses explicit deterministic rules and normalizers so the same input produces a predictable result.
